My name is Cory Mitchell, and I have been an active member of the Des Moines-area food scene for over thirty years.  I started my passion for food as a line cook in the early 90's during college to pay the bills and eat well.  After graduating from DMACC, I dropped my colored pencils and focused on a career in the hotel industry, working for Marriott International. During that time, I started a small business creating restaurant maps for hotels, highlighting the best places to get a bite in Des Moines.  At the beginning of Y2K, I left the hotel business and took a job working for Dice.com, and focused the business on the interwebs, creating a Yelp-like site showcasing reviews, restaurant locations, and top lists.  I also had a blog called coryeats where I shared what I was eating from time to time. After 15 years of fighting with Google rankings, I retired the websites and realized there was a need to help food trucks in the Des Moines area. For the past six years, I have focused on operations for foodtrucksdsm.com and delivering locations and times to find good eats.
